Our Founder – Jay Korza

1393Productions is operated by Jay Korza, whose real-world background directly influences the reliability, practicality, and creativity found in the products we offer.

Jay served as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, working in the Emergency Room at the Navy Medical Center in San Diego. After his military service, he continued working in emergency medicine and on ambulances before beginning a long career in law enforcement, ultimately retiring as a sergeant after more than two decades of service.

He also spent 15 years on the Pima Regional SWAT Team, serving as a sniper, breacher, and TEMS medic. That experience shaped his understanding of equipment that must perform under stress, informing the durability and design philosophy behind many of our functional items.

Today, Jay continues to serve his community as a flight paramedic, while channeling his technical expertise and creative energy into building everything from rugged tools to fun, personalized creations.
