Eko 500 Connector Guard — The Jack Saver

⚕️ YOUR EKO 500 CONNECTOR, BUT WITH A LITTLE BACKBONE.

✔ Helps keep the connector seated
✔ Reduces flexing at the rubber/metal connection
✔ Helps prevent the connector from backing off
✔ Protects the cable from getting bent to death
✔ Tough, flexible TPU construction
✔ Designed specifically for the Littmann Eko 500 connection shown
📏 30mm tall × 14mm diameter

The tiny accessory you didn't know you needed until your connector started acting stupid.

If you've ever had the connector on your Eko 500 slowly work its way loose, you already know the frustration.

And if you've ever looked at that little rubber-to-metal transition and thought, "Yeah... that's probably not going to survive forever," — congratulations. You found the problem child.

This little TPU sleeve is designed to slide over the Eko 500's connector and give that area some much-needed support.

It adds stiffness around the connection, helping reduce the flexing and movement that can let the jack slowly back off during normal use. It also helps protect the spot where the rubber tubing meets the metal connector from repeated bending and abuse.

Basically:

Less floppy.
Less fiddling.
Less "WHY IS MY STETHOSCOPE COMING APART?"

Just a tiny bit of TPU standing between your expensive stethoscope and another annoying piece of equipment deciding to betray you.

WHY TPU?

Because this isn't a decorative little plastic ring pretending to be useful.

It's printed in flexible, rugged TPU that can flex with the stethoscope while still adding support where you need it. It is designed to provide reinforcement without turning the connection into a rigid, awkward mess.

Dimensions: approximately 30mm tall × 14mm diameter.

INSTALLATION

The Connector Guard simply slides over the connector area shown in the photos.

The fit is intentionally snug. Once installed, it helps support the connection and reduce unwanted movement.

Important: This is a friction/support sleeve, not a mechanical locking device. It is designed to help keep the connector seated and reduce strain; it cannot guarantee that a connector will never loosen.

A NOTE ABOUT FIT

This accessory is designed specifically around the Littmann Eko 500 connection shown in the listing photos.

Please compare your stethoscope to the photos before ordering. This listing is for the connector guard only — stethoscope, Eko electronics, tubing, and other accessories are not included.

3D-PRINTED THINGS ARE ALLOWED TO LOOK LIKE 3D-PRINTED THINGS

Every piece is printed to order, so you may see normal FDM print characteristics such as layer lines, tiny surface variations, or slight differences between individual pieces.

That's not a manufacturing defect. That's just your tiny piece of robot-made medical gear being born one layer at a time.

I inspect every item before it leaves here to make sure it's structurally sound and actually worthy of being attached to your stethoscope.

CLEANING

TPU can be cleaned with hot, soapy water.

For disinfecting, you can use a 1:10 bleach-to-water solution, then rinse and allow the piece to dry completely.

Because apparently even tiny pieces of TPU sometimes have to deal with the consequences of healthcare.

QUESTIONS?

Message me anytime. I'm considerably more responsive than medical control at 3 a.m.

And if you've got another weird little problem with your Eko, your stethoscope, your gear, or something else that would be better solved with a 3D printer than a trip to the store...

Send me the weird idea.

That's basically how half of the stuff in my shop happened.
